The 19th ASEICA International Congress will take place from November 13 to 15, 2024, in Zaragoza, Spain. Organised by the Spanish Association of Cancer Research (ASEICA), this prestigious event brings together over 1,400 leading cancer researchers from across Spain to discuss recent advancements and collaborative strategies in cancer research. Since 1983, ASEICA has promoted oncological research, bridging the gap between basic and clinical science to improve cancer outcomes, with a strong commitment to equality and support for cancer patients and their families.
Veronique Calleja, CSO and Laura Camacho, Senior Scientist from HAWK Biosystems will attend the congress, presenting a flash talk on their research abstract, “Quantification of PD-1/PD-L1 Functional Engagement by QF-Pro® as a Predictor of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Response in NSCLC.” This talk will focus on QF-Pro’s® potential as a valuable tool for predicting responses in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) therapy. The ASEICA congress offers an important platform for dialogue between preclinical and clinical scientists, advancing innovative approaches to cancer treatment.
