During the event, Cristina Cacho, PhD and Laura Camacho, PhD, both Scientific Officers at Hawk Biosystems, will present a talk titled: “QF-Pro®: Spatial Biology with Proven Clinical Value”

This presentation will introduce the QF-Pro® platform, a new standard in spatial biology capable of generating data with proven clinical value. QF-Pro® spatially quantifies protein functions, such as protein-protein interactions and protein post-translational modifications, directly in routine FFPE samples. In a recent study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, QF-Pro® was used to quantify PD-1/PD-L1 interaction states in NSCLC samples from 188 patients, demonstrating that these interaction states were highly predictive of patient responses to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapies, significantly outperforming the current PD-L1 expression score biomarker.
